About the Role We are looking for a professional, friendly, and dependable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. This is a true receptionist role. You will be the welcoming face and voice of Edwards & Associates, creating a positive first impression for clients whether they contact us by phone, email, or in person. Primary Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, vendors, and callers, creating a professional and welcoming experience Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner Take accurate messages and ensure timely communication with team members Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and client documents Provide reliable front desk coverage during required in-office days (Tuesday through Thursday) Manage multiple requests, interruptions, and changing priorities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies Assist with coordinating lunches, meetings, and occasional office needs Support basic office operations and administrative processes as needed Collaborate with colleagues and pitch in where needed to help the office operate efficiently What We're Looking For Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills Professional verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and prioritization abilities Strong sense of accountability and ownership over responsibilities A high level of dependability and follow-through The ability to remain calm and positive in a busy environment Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Comfort learning new technology and processes Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, and other business software A willingness to learn and grow within the firm Previous receptionist, front desk, hospitality, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred.
