Job Description
We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in Rhode Island. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, handling incoming communication efficiently, and keeping shared spaces organized. The person in this role will serve as a key first point of contact for visitors while helping maintain a detail-oriented office atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors upon arrival, respond to the doorbell promptly, and provide courteous front desk assistance.
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and relay messages accurately.
- Maintain the appearance of conference rooms by straightening and preparing shared meeting spaces throughout the day.
- Collect the daily newspaper from outside the office and ensure it is brought inside in a timely manner.
- Provide attentive customer service to guests, callers, and internal staff while maintaining a detail-oriented presence at all times.
- Support general reception coverage by monitoring the front entrance and helping ensure smooth day-to-day office flow.
