Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive administrative and clinical support within a busy chiropractic practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent patient service abilities, and a solid understanding of medical office operations. Your contribution will ensure smooth daily clinic functions, enhance patient experiences, and uphold the highest standards of healthcare delivery. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and assist with appointment scheduling to optimize clinic flow. Manage patient intake processes. Assist chiropractor with clinical tasks such as preparing treatment rooms, handling documentation related to patient care, and supporting procedures when necessary. Support administrative duties including billing, coding (ICD coding), and managing medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies to facilitate effective information exchange. Ensure the clinic environment adheres to safety protocols and sanitation standards while managing inventory of supplies and equipment. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to outpatient chiropractic care. Experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management for efficient documentation. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and confidentiality. Familiarity with medical office management practices including scheduling, billing, coding, and records maintenance. Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to patient privacy (HIPAA compliance) and medical documentation standards.
