We want a team member who desires to be a part of that culture. The main duties of this role will focus on front desk reception, patient scheduling, and insurance verification/coordination. This job will require great communication, organization, and phone skills. Experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Answer phone calls and emails Ensure patients are comfortable Ensure office is neat and presentable Help patients complete required forms Confirm appointments Communicate with referrals Communicate with insurance companies Obtain accurate insurance breakdowns from insurance companies Input insurance information into patient management system Handle incoming and outgoing mail Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records Collect payments Skills Great phone skills Must have excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in person and on the phone Ability to get along well with others Minimum High School diploma required, college education is a plus Must be reliable and have an excellent attendance record Knowledge of Word, Excel and other common office software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPPA compliance in regards to documentation copied, typed or filed. Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable
