This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a critical role in creating an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, compassionate, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service in every interaction. Primary Responsibilities Greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a warm, professional manner. Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently. Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation. Collect copayments, balances, and other patient payments. Respond to patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy. Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Assist with administrative and clerical duties as assigned. Exceptional customer service is the foundation of this position. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous customer service experience preferred. Medical office or receptionist experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with computers and office software. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and demeanor. Preferred Characteristics Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities. Strong problem-solving skills. Commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
