May schedule appointments or meeting rooms, gather patient information, or assist with filing or other administrative support work.

Job Description
Duties Verify the patient's insurance Enter demographics Retrieve medical records Check faxes and assign to designated staff Make, cancel and reschedule appointments Call patients to schedule that have been referred. Collect copays and balances due at checkout. Qualifications Patient service skills Office experience, especially in a front desk setting is preferred Familiarity with EMR systems Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism Medical experience and dermatology terminology knowledge is a plus Knowledge of ModMed EMA is a bonus! Must have well developed people skills, phone etiquette and ability to adapt to change. Fast paced office with opportunity to be trained on the job. PTO for vacation (10 days) and sick time (7 days) Paid Holidays. Pay is based on experience. Office hours are 8:00 am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00-12:00 pm on Friday Employee arrival time is 7:30 am Monday-Friday.
