East Coast Honda & East Coast Volkswagen | Myrtle Beach, SC Part-Time Receptionist with Potential to Become Full-Time East Coast Honda and East Coast Volkswagen are looking for a friendly, dependable and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. We're looking for someone who wants to start part-time and has the potential to grow into a full-time position as they become trained and established in the role. Starting Part-Time Schedule Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-8:00 PM, plus occasional Saturdays from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. Potential Full-Time Schedule For the right person, the position may grow into a full-time schedule of approximately: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-8:00 PM When a Saturday is worked, the full-time schedule would include a rotating weekday off. The specific weekday off may vary depending on the Saturday schedule and business needs. This is more than a traditional receptionist position. You'll become an important part of our daily operation—helping customers get to the right person, working with different departments throughout the dealerships, and handling administrative tasks that help keep our inventory and accounting processes running smoothly. We'll teach you our dealership systems and processes. What we're looking for is someone who is eager to learn, listens well, pays attention to details and takes pride in doing things correctly. What You'll Do Connect Customers With the Right People Answer a multi-line phone system serving two dealerships. Learn and use our computer-based phone systems and dealership software. Listen to each caller and understand what they need before connecting them with the appropriate department or team member. Become familiar with Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, Accounting and other dealership departments so you can confidently help direct customers. Take ownership of each call and make sure customers get to the right person—not simply transfer a call and hope for the best. Provide a friendly, professional experience to every customer who calls or visits. Help Keep Our Inventory Moving You'll also handle important administrative work involving our new vehicle inventory, including: Assigning stock numbers to incoming vehicles. Entering vehicle information into our computer systems. Stocking new vehicles into inventory accurately and on time. Checking your work for accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Completing time-sensitive data entry while managing incoming calls and other responsibilities. Helping ensure incoming vehicles are entered and stocked within the required timeframe. This part of the job is especially important. Getting vehicles stocked correctly and promptly helps our Sales, Accounting and Inventory teams do their jobs and helps us get vehicles ready to sell. Can work independently once trained. Maintains a professional, positive attitude in a busy environment. Automotive experience is a plus, but it isn't required. If you're a quick learner with great communication skills and attention to detail, we'll teach you the automotive side of the business. Experience in reception, customer service, call centers, medical offices, banking, hospitality, administrative work, dispatching or other fast-paced customer-facing environments can translate very well to this position.
