Full-Time / Part-Time Job Overview We are seeking a welcoming, detail-oriented, and professional Bilingual Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. In this role, you will bridge language barriers to provide exceptional customer service, manage all aspects of guest arrivals and departures, handle inquiries, and ensure a smooth, memorable stay for a diverse guest compliance population. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills in both English and a second language, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities Guest Registration & Check-Out:
Welcoming guests, verifying identifications, assigning rooms, issuing room keys, and processing payments efficiently.
Multilingual Support:
Assisting non-English speaking guests with check-in, checkout, and general inquiries to ensure they feel valued and comfortable.
Customer Service:
Serving as a primary point of contact for guest requests, inquiries, and complaints. Resolving issues promptly and professionally to ensure high guest satisfaction.
Reservations & Inquiries:
Managing phone calls, walk-in inquiries, and online booking systems to accurately create, modify, or cancel guest reservations.
Concierge Services:
Providing recommendations on local dining, attractions, transportation, and hidden gems to enrich the guest experience.
Billing & Cash Handling:
Maintaining accurate guest folios, processing cash and credit card transactions, and balancing shifts according to financial protocols.
Communication Hub:
Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure rooms are ready on time and guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
Qualifications & Skills Language Requirements:
Fluency in English and at least one other language (written and verbal) is required.
Experience:
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or administrative roles is preferred. Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus.
Communication:
Exceptional communication skills with a warm, helpful demeanor.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to remain calm, professional, and resourceful when handling guest concerns or unexpected situations.
Organization:
Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Savvy:
Basic computer literacy, including experience with email, spreadsheet software, and point-of-sale systems.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
$16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
