We are seeking a warm, welcoming, and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our residents, families, guests, visitors, and team members. This position plays an important role in creating the exceptional experience and welcoming atmosphere that defines our community. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, provides outstanding customer service, and understands the importance of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail in a senior living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and warmly welcome residents, visitors, guests, vendors, and team members. Provide assistance and information to visitors and guests, helping them navigate the community and directing them to the appropriate department or individual. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Monitor and maintain awareness of individuals entering and exiting the community in accordance with established procedures. Respond to questions and requests with a helpful, service-oriented attitude. Assist residents and families with general needs and provide appropriate follow-up or referrals when necessary. Maintain a polished, professional, and welcoming reception area. Receive and distribute mail, packages, deliveries, and other correspondence as needed. Maintain accurate records, logs, and other documentation associated with reception responsibilities. Communicate important information to appropriate departments and team members. Assist with emergency procedures and follow established safety and security protocols. Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy and dignity of residents, families, and team members. Provide exceptional customer service while representing the mission and values of Still Hopes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous receptionist, customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor. Ability to remain calm, courteous, and helpful in a busy environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems. Ability to interact respectfully and compassionately with older adults, families, visitors, and coworkers.
