Administrative Assistant - Front Desk Addiction Recovery Centers of the
Black Hills Rapid City, SD Full Time Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday:
12pm-8pm
Tuesday:
10am-8pm
Friday:
8am-2pm Job Overview Addiction Recovery Centers of the Black Hills is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant - Front Desk to support daily operations and provide exceptional service to clients, staff, and community partners. This role is essential to maintaining an organized, professional, and welcoming office environment within a behavioral health setting. Key Responsibilities Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls Make outbound calls and relay accurate messages Greet visitors and handle front desk inquiries professionally Organize and schedule appointments Review files and records to respond to information requests Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence Maintain filing systems (electronic and paper) Compile and update records of office activities Perform general office duties (copying, scanning, faxing, emailing) Type and format documents and correspondence Enter, update, and maintain data in internal systems Coordinate workflow and assist with daily office operations Manage petty cash and track basic financial transactions Monitor and order office supplies and inventory Maintain a clean, organized front desk and office space Clean and maintain coffee station Provide coverage for various shifts as needed Collaborate with external agencies and partners
Qualifications Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous administrative or front desk experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Comfortable using email, internet, and office systems Strong typing and data entry skills Core Competencies Strong organizational and planning skills Effective time management and prioritization High level of accuracy and attention to detail Problem-solving and adaptability Excellent customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Commitment to maintaining confidentiality Why Join Us?
