Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper & Receptionist to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to manage essential financial record-keeping while providing exceptional front-desk support. The ideal candidate will be energized by maintaining accurate accounting systems, supporting financial processes, and delivering a welcoming experience to visitors and staff alike. Your expertise in various accounting software and systems will be vital in ensuring smooth operations and financial integrity across our organization. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop & Online. Prepare and review journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. Serve as the first point of contact at the reception area—greeting visitors, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining office supplies, organizing files, and supporting team members with various clerical duties Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles with familiarity in public accounting or non-profit accounting environments Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks. Strong understanding of accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation Ability to perform detailed account analysis and general ledger reconciliation accurately Tax Preparation knowledge is a plus. Experience using Excel & Word Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and staff. Schedule Our schedule is very unique. During Off Season(April15th- December 30th) we are only in office one day a week(Wednesday) which will be the 6 hours. During January-April15th we will be in office 5 days a week and your hours will increase. We are looking for someone that is looking to grow with our team! Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
