ABOUT THE ROLE D-BAT

Chattanooga is Scenic City's home for baseball & softball training. We're hiring a Player Services & Front Desk Coordinator to be the face of the facility. This is not a "sit behind the counter and scroll your phone" job. You'll be juggling phones, walk-in questions, lesson check-ins, and the point-of-sale system—often all at once—while keeping a positive, professional attitude with kids, parents, and coaches. We're looking for someone who wants to be here for the foreseeable future, not for a 3-4 month pit stop.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Greet players and families and check them in for lessons, camps, clinics, and cage rentals Run the point-of-sale system: memberships, lessons, camps, cages, pro shop items, gift cards, etc. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to questions about: How lessons work (pricing, scheduling, instructors) Membership options and benefits Camps, clinics, teams, and special events Cage rentals and pitching machine usage Book and manage: Private lessons and recurring lessons Cage rentals and team rentals Birthday parties and group events Explain and promote memberships, packages, and current promotions Follow daily opening and closing checklists (front desk, lobby, cages, basic cleaning/reset) Help monitor and restock concessions / vending and pro shop merchandise Learn and follow basic pitching machine procedures (starting up, shutting down, troubleshooting common issues

•training provided) Communicate clearly with instructors and management about schedules, cancellations, and customer needs Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment for players and families

•4 PM) Able to work 1-2 evening shifts per week (4pm-8pm Weekend availability strongly preferred Sat (10am-6pm) Sun (12pm-6pm) We are flexible and will build a consistent schedule around the right person.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-haves:

At least 18 years old Strong, clear communication skills with adults and kids Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced environment with constant multitasking Reliable transportation and ability to get to the facility consistently (local candidates within ~10 minutes preferred) Professional, mature attitude—shows up on time, ready to work, every shift Basic computer skills and ability to learn our POS and booking systems Willing to commit to the role for the foreseeable future (this is not a short-term seasonal job)

Nice-to-haves:

Customer service, retail, hospitality, or front desk experience Experience with youth sports, especially baseball or softball Comfort talking about training, lessons, and memberships (we will train you on the details) Sales Experience
