Veterinary Receptionist Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the veterinary clinic.

Duties:

• Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar
• Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently
• Assist with medical collections and billing processes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Utilize veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with clients and staff
• Coordinate with veterinary technicians and veterinarians to ensure seamless patient care
• Familiarity with veterinary critical care procedures is beneficial

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
