It is the responsibility of the veterinary receptionist to be kind, competent, and compassionate, so the owner feels secure about what goes on in the animal hospital "behind the scenes." The animals we care for at Fountain City Animal Hospital are most often related to by their owners as full family members, so they need to be treated accordingly. You must love animals to do this job well! We need someone who has great multi-tasking skills, who is organized, self-assured but humble enough to ask for help when needed. (S)he must be polite, even under pressure, and professional but warm, whether on the phone or face-to-face with clients.
