Job Description

The Waters of Maryville is now hiring for a Receptionist FT Monday-Friday. Come be a part of our TEAM!! Under the direction of the Administrator, the Receptionist assumes responsibility for the clerical operations of the facility. This includes providing clerical support to all disciplines if needed and overseeing front desk operations. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A. Role Responsibilities -
Job Knowledge/Duties:
1. Attends all mandatory in-services by the employee's anniversary date 2. Acts appropriately under the direction of the Administrator and acts as an active member of the interdisciplinary team 3. Demonstrates ability to adjust to changes in duties and assignments to meet facility needs 4. Provides clerical support to the Administrator and respective disciplines 5. Answering phones, running facility errands, making schedules, and distributing mail. 6. Facility Tours if Admissions is not in office 7. Updates and preserves all current facility binders/contracts under supervision of Administrator 8. Maintains and updates all physician licensure, credentials and insurance information 9. Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program when performing work functions B. Role Responsibilities -
Interpersonal Skills:
1. Is aware of, and adheres to, Resident's Bill of Rights and Confidentiality of Resident Information 2. Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, clinical and ancillary staff in a non judgmental, supportive and calm manner 3. Addresses family satisfaction issues immediately and assists in resolving the matter in a professional manner with Administrator and/or DON 4. Is aware of Resident Abuse Reporting Law 5. Participates as assigned in the orientation of new staff and demonstrates a positive, helpful and enthusiastic attitude 6. Creates and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the facility 7. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent and has experience with Microsoft Excel.
