Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist/Bather to join our vibrant team! In this dual role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a smooth check-in process while also assisting with pet bathing, grooming support, and animal handling. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every pet and owner who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing excellent customer service and communication with pet owners. Manage appointment scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently. Assist with pet bathing, grooming preparation, and pet coat styling to ensure animals look their best. Handle animal restraint safely during grooming procedures or other services. Perform pet nail trimming, animal handling, and basic animal care tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, grooming station, and kennel space. Support team members with heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary to ensure safety. Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary settings, animal handling, dog training, or pet grooming is highly preferred. Knowledge of veterinary technician or assistant roles is a plus. Experience with equine or companion animal handling is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Ability to handle dogs and other animals safely and confidently during grooming or restraint procedures. Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet sitting, kennel work, and pet care routines. Willingness to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for animal care.
