Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Front Desk Coordinator, where your enthusiasm and organizational skills will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role is crucial to setting the tone for patient experience, and maintaining an efficient schedule flow. Prior experience is not necessary, we are happy to train the right candidate with the skills needed to meet our 5 star standards. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Schedule appointments efficiently using medical scheduling software and coordinate patient intake processes Update electronic health records (EHR) with patient information Monitor text/fax/email/voicemail platforms for patient messages and appointment requests Handle administrative tasks such as filing, uploading documents, and faxing out information. Help with preparation for the following days patients by helping with tasks such as making sure new patient paperwork is filled out, calling next days patients who haven't confirmed appointment, and putting together charts Uphold clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive patient information with integrity and discretion Requirements Strong computer skills Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills If you love helping people, are interested in community-outreach, and would like to build strong working relationships with your patients and coworkers, we'd love to see your application!
