Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across a variety of legal practice areas, ensuring smooth operations and efficient case management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal support expertise while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Duties Assist attorneys and paralegals with case preparation, document drafting, and more. Manage and organize legal files using document management systems. Handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining strict adherence to privacy protocols. Coordinate client communications by scheduling meetings, interviews, and follow-ups; assist in preparing clients for proceedings or consultations. Support attorneys with procedural law compliance, filing documents with courts or agencies. Provide executive administrative support including calendar management, correspondence handling, and phone etiquette to ensure seamless office operations. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a law office setting. Excellent Word processing skills. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional phone etiquette. Experience supporting attorneys with document drafting, proofreading, filing procedures, and client communication. Familiarity with legal administrative tasks such as filing court documents accurately and managing confidential information securely.
