Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced physician's office. Duties Greet and welcome patients in a professional manner. Answer phone calls and manage phone systems, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently such as patient info and insurance management. Handle, process and balance daily payments. Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and order supplies. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, mailing, and document preparation. Provide support as needed to other departments or staff members. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. General cleaning of office weekly. Experience Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with office management practices and procedures is advantageous. Experience with calendar management and scheduling is a plus. Proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks is required. Knowledge of medical receptionist duties is beneficial for positions within healthcare settings. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
