Receptionist Job Summary:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing excellent customer service while managing front desk operations. The role involves handling calls, greeting guests, scheduling appointments, and performing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls. Perform data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and other administrative tasks. Manage appointment scheduling and meeting room bookings. Receive, sort, and distribute mail. Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized. Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information. Monitor office supplies and supply needs. Coordinate with staff to support daily office operations. Maintain visitor logs and follow security procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Assocates Degree preferred. Minimun of two years clerical and office experience. Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred. Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
