Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, provide outstanding customer service, and support administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will help create a warm, professional atmosphere for our patients and team members alike. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule/ reschedule and confirm appointments Verify, maintain patient records, files, and documentation with meticulous attention to detail Collect payment, process transactions, and balance the cash drawer when applicable Communicate effectively with providers and clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Respond to emails, text messages, and online inquiries in a timely manner Assist with inventory and front desk administrative tasks as assigned. Follow HIPAA guidelines and company policies regarding patient confidentiality Support other clinic locations when needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience; medical office experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills; experience with EMR or scheduling software is a plus. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
