Duties Welcome swimmers and parents:

Manage registrations:
Enrol swimmers, update customer accounts, and ensure required forms and waivers are completed.
Coordinate schedules:
Book lessons, trial classes, make-up sessions, and cancellations according to school policy.
Process payments:
Collect lesson fees, issue receipts, and help resolve billing questions.
Maintain records:
Keep attendance, contact details, and relevant student information accurate and confidential.
Communicate with families:
Share reminders, schedule changes, upcoming events, and instructor updates.
Support instructors and management:
Provide class lists and promptly pass along parent questions or concerns.
Keep reception organised:
Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk and stocked information materials.
Follow safety procedures:
Explain facility rules, report hazards, and alert trained staff immediately during emergencies.
Promote programmes:
Explain membership options and help interested families sign up. Requirements Proven experience in office administration or front desk roles with strong clerical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone Technical proficiency with office equipment such as printers, and computers Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse client needs effectively Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management capabilities Prior experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable but not required Demonstrated computer literacy, including typing speed and proofreading skills Personal assistant or office management experience is advantageous for success in this role Join us as a Front Desk Receptionist to be an integral part of our team!
