VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST

Head Veterinary Services — Aubrey, TX | In Person | Full-Time $16.00 - $20.00 / hr based on experience • 4-day work week • Weekends & holidays off

We are a private, one-doctor Fear Free practice focused on companion and exotic animal care. Being privately owned means we do things the right way — no unnecessary overtime, no overloaded schedules, and genuine respect for your life outside of work. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Greet clients, collect intake information, and guide them through the Fear Free check-in process. Maintain accurate medical records; contact clients regarding appointments and communicate medical information clearly. Support the team and leadership in maintaining a professional, communicative, and positive work environment. Manage scheduling, office systems, and equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and veterinary medical records software required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

2+ years of veterinary reception experience (required) Dependable, organized, and able to stay on task in a structured environment Comfortable handling or learning to handle cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish, small mammals, and invertebrates Strong written and verbal communication with clients and team Fear Free certification a plus — training provided if not yet certified

SCHEDULE 4

days/week, 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday Currently closed all weekends and major holidays

MEET DR. HEAD

Dr. Valerie Head practices high-quality medicine with a Spectrum of Care approach across a wide range of species. She is passionate about client education, preventive care, and soft tissue surgery.
