As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we deliver comprehensive primary medical, dental, behavioral health, and OB/GYN services in a welcoming environment that emphasizes both physical and spiritual care. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receptionist for our after-hours team to ensure smooth front desk operations during evening and night shifts. This vital role involves managing multi-line phone systems, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting office management functions. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, highly organized, and proficient with computer systems, ready to create a positive experience for patients and visitors while maintaining efficient administrative workflows. Responsibilities Greet patients, visitors, and staff warmly, creating a welcoming environment during after-hours shifts Answer multiple phone lines promptly using multi-line phone systems; direct calls accurately and courteously Manage appointment scheduling, calendar updates, and patient check-in/check-out processes with efficiency Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, and proofreading to support clinic operations Assist with office management tasks such as inventory checks, supply organization, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar tools Support clerical duties including document preparation, correspondence, and ensuring proper office etiquette Uphold confidentiality standards and demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while providing superior customer support Skills Proven experience in front desk or reception roles within office environments Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting Excellent computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software Bilingual communication skills to serve diverse community members effectively Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office management procedures Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor and positive attitude Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and handle clerical responsibilities such as proofreading and filing Personal assistant or administrative experience is advantageous; familiarity with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is a plus Join us in making a difference by providing compassionate support during after-hours operations.
