About Us At AXIS Diabetes and Endocrinology, we provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with diabetes and endocrine disorders. Led by Dr. Neeraja Boddu, M.D., our practice is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized care while helping patients manage their health through education and evidence-based treatment. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. Job Overview As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, both in person and over the phone. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and organized experience for every patient who walks through our doors or calls the office. We are seeking someone who is friendly, professional, and willing to learn. Prior experience in a medical office is helpful but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with appointments, questions, and general inquiries. Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient visits. Manage incoming and outgoing referrals and assist with obtaining records when needed. Check patients in and out of the office. Update and maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information. Scan, fax, and upload documents into the electronic medical record system. Communicate professionally with patients, pharmacies, hospitals, and referring providers. Assist with general administrative and front office duties as needed. Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Previous medical office or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Willingness to learn and be trained in office processes and systems. Strong communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical records systems. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is kind, reliable, and enjoys helping patients. Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
