Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a manufacturing organization in California. This is a Contract position expected to last one month, with the possibility of extension, and it offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming and organized office environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, and comfortable communicating in both English and Spanish while handling a range of administrative and receptionist tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors, employees, and vendors in a courteous manner while maintaining a welcoming and detail-oriented front desk presence.
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries to the appropriate departments, and take accurate messages when needed.
- Support day-to-day administrative activities such as scheduling, calendar coordination, and general clerical tasks for the office.
- Assist with evaluating front desk workflows and provide practical support as responsibilities for the position are further defined.
- Maintain organized reception and common areas to ensure the office presents an organized appearance at all times.
- Respond to routine questions from internal and external contacts and deliver a high standard of customer service in both English and Spanish.
- Use Microsoft Office applications to prepare basic documents, update information, and support administrative needs across the team.
