Job Description

Job Summary This will be a mix of kennel/daycare shifts and receptionist shifts. the position will be mostly closing shifts and eventually working every other Saturday with about 30+ hours per week Receptionist Duties Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage check-in/check-out procedures with professionalism and enthusiasm Maintain cleanliness of the lobby Relaying grooming instructions to the groomers Answering phones and taking reservations Setting up new clients and answering any questions they may have Assisting kennel if needed Kennel Tech Duties Handle animals with care, ensuring proper restraint, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their health during their stay Maintaining a clean kennel, daycare and common areas. Cleaning up any accidents the dogs have Most of the shift is spent in daycare playing with the dogs and making sure they are having a good time and being safe Completing daily cleaning tasks Qualifications Prior experience in a boarding, daycare or grooming facility is preferred but not required Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animal restraint techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Passionate about animal care with a positive attitude Schedule Weekdays either opening (6:45am
  • 1:00pm) or closing (1:00pm
  • 7:00pm) Every other Saturday (7:00am
  • 10:30am & 3:30pm
  • 6:30pm) Sundays off, maybe a random Sunday if someone requests off
