CHEW Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized receptionist to join our growing team. As a nonprofit veterinary hospital, we provide affordable veterinary care to families and rescue organizations throughout the DFW community. Our front desk is the first point of contact for people who may be worried about their pet, navigating financial concerns, or simply looking for guidance. We're looking for someone who can make clients feel welcome while keeping a busy day organized and moving smoothly. If you enjoy helping people, love animals, and take pride in doing your job well, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, compassion, and professionalism. Answer phones, respond to messages, and direct questions to the appropriate team member. Schedule appointments and surgeries according to hospital guidelines. Explain services, appointment requirements, deposits, and payment policies clearly. Keep client and patient information accurate and up to date. Coordinate with veterinarians and nursing staff to support smooth check-ins, patient updates, and discharges. Process payments accurately and confirm invoices are complete before checkout. Keep reception and client areas clean, organized, and welcoming. Support teammates and help wherever needed throughout the day.
