Part Time Front Desk Receptionist ELITE Stress Management & Rehabilitation ELITE Stress Management & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable, professional, and friendly Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our medical massage clinic. Our front desk receptionist is an important part of the patient experience and serves as a primary point of communication between our patients, massage therapists, medical providers, and outside doctors' offices. We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, able to multitask, and committed to providing excellent patient service while helping maintain an efficient and welcoming clinical environment.

$16.00 per hour ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Patient Services Greet patients warmly and professionally as they arrive. Check patients in and out for scheduled medical massage appointments. Assist patients with intake paperwork, HIPAA consent forms, and other required documentation. Verify and update patient contact, personal, and demographic information. Provide professional and courteous assistance to patients regarding appointments and general office questions. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA/privacy requirements. Help create a welcoming, organized, and professional patient experience. Phones & Communication Answer incoming phone calls promptly and in a professional manner. Assist patients with questions and appointment needs. Make outgoing calls/texts when needed for appointment confirmations, scheduling, or follow-up. Communicate professionally with patients, massage therapists, management, physicians' offices, and other healthcare providers. Route questions or concerns requiring clinical attention to the appropriate massage therapist, provider, or office personnel. Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the workday. Scheduling & Office Coordination Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm patient appointments. Coordinate massage therapist schedules to help maintain an organized daily patient flow. Monitor the daily schedule and communicate changes, cancellations, or scheduling concerns to therapists. Assist patients with future appointment scheduling before leaving the clinic. Help maintain accurate patient and appointment information within the clinic's scheduling system. Patient Records & Medical Office Administration File, organize, and maintain patient folders and records. Ensure paperwork is placed in the correct patient files and kept organized. Assist with medical referrals, physician documentation, authorizations, or other patient paperwork when applicable. Communicate with doctors' offices regarding patient documentation and administrative needs. Maintain confidentiality when handling patient records and protected health information. Assist with general front-office administrative duties as assigned. Payments & Checkout Collect patient payments, co-pays, deductibles, or private-pay fees when applicable. Provide patients with appropriate receipts or payment documentation. Accurately complete patient checkout procedures. Facility, Laundry & Cleaning Responsibilities This position also includes helping maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional clinic environment.
Responsibilities include:
Completing clinic laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Keeping the front desk and reception area clean and organized. Maintaining the patient waiting area. Cleaning and maintaining clinic bathrooms. Cleaning and organizing employee breakroom areas. Restocking necessary office, patient, and clinic supplies. Helping ensure treatment-support areas remain organized and adequately stocked. Completing light cleaning and organizational tasks throughout the shift as needed. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be: Professional, dependable, punctual, and organized. Friendly and comfortable working directly with patients. Able to communicate professionally in person, by phone and text massaging. Able to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, email, and basic office programs. Able to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Willing to perform laundry, restroom cleaning, breakroom cleaning, and general office upkeep as part of the position. Able to work independently while also communicating effectively with massage therapists and management. Able to remain calm, courteous, and professional when assisting multiple patients or managing a busy front desk. Previous medical office, receptionist, scheduling, customer service, or healthcare experience is preferred, but the right candidate with strong communication and organizational skills may also be considered. The right candidate will take pride in keeping the front office organized, communicating professionally, assisting patients with care and respect, supporting our massage therapists, protecting confidential information, and helping maintain a clean and professional clinic environment.
Pay:
$14.00 per hour starting, increasing to $16.00 per hour after 90 days.
Schedule:
Part-time, 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
