$16.00-$19.00 per hour, based on experience

In-Person | Pediatric Medical Office About Our Practice Our pediatric practice has proudly served children and families in the community for over 30 years as Pediatric & Adolescent Center of Grand Prairie & Arlington . We are now entering an exciting new chapter as we transition to Osler Pediatric Clinic , while continuing our commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to children and adolescents. We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Front Office Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a positive and welcoming personality, enjoys working with children and families, provides excellent customer service, and is willing to step in and help the team wherever needed. Both experienced and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply . Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, dependable, eager to learn, and committed to being a team player. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients and families in a friendly and professional manner Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information Verify eligibility and benefits for Medicaid, CHIP, and commercial insurance plans Answer incoming phone calls and assist parents with scheduling and general questions Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Collect copays and patient balances when applicable Maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) Communicate professionally with parents, providers, clinical staff, and other team members Assist the clinical team with rooming patients and obtaining vital signs when needed Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming front-office environment Assist with additional front-office and clinic responsibilities as needed Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills Enjoys working with children and families Dependable, punctual, and responsible Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable answering and managing a high volume of phone calls Ability to work effectively and respectfully as part of a team Willingness to learn, take direction, and assist in different areas of the clinic when needed Previous medical or pediatric office experience is preferred but not required Experience with Medicaid, CHIP, commercial insurance verification, and EMR systems is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus New to the Medical Field? We welcome candidates who may not have previous medical office experience but have strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in working in pediatrics. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, reliability, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Employment, Schedule & Benefits $16.00-$19.00 per hour, based on experience Part-time and full-time positions available In-person position Our pediatric clinic operates Monday through Saturday Candidates must have flexible availability Monday through Saturday, based on the position and clinic schedule Saturday availability is required as scheduled All new employees complete a 90-day introductory period PTO eligibility begins after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period On-the-job training available for qualified entry-level candidates Opportunity to gain experience in pediatric healthcare and grow with our practice Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for more than someone to simply work the front desk.
