POSITION SUMMARY/SCOPE
The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members and visitors by providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of the Wellness Center. This position is responsible for member check-in, front desk operations, facility appearance, and administrative support under the direction of the Director of Rehab.

Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities Welcome members and guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner. Check members in and verify memberships. Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general inquiries. Register new members and process membership applications. Process membership payments and issue receipts. Assist with opening, updating, freezing, and canceling membership accounts. Schedule appointments, facility reservations, and program registrations as assigned. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area. Perform routine cleaning of fitness equipment and common areas. Fold towels, stock supplies, and maintain locker rooms as assigned. Assist with opening and/or closing procedures as assigned. Maintain accurate member records and complete data entry. File membership documents and maintain confidentiality. Report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to the supervisor. Provide tours of the Wellness Center to prospective members. Promote Wellness Center memberships, classes, and special events. Assist members with general questions regarding programs and services. Other duties as assigned. Monthly Responsibilities Assist with monthly membership audits and record verification. Help prepare promotional displays and marketing materials. Assist with member appreciation activities and special events. Participate in monthly staff and safety meetings. Monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor when supplies need replenishing. Assist with organizing member files and administrative records. Annual Responsibilities Participate in annual staff training and required education. Assist with Wellness Center events and community outreach programs. Support annual inventory of supplies and equipment. Review departmental policies and procedures. Assist with updating forms and member information as needed. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and customer service standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Current BLS or obtain within 6 months of hire date.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Requires lifting, positioning, and pushing. Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
