A Receptionist greets and directs customers or visitors that come in to an office or business, and answers and directs incoming phone calls. Deals with mail or courier services. May schedule appointments or meeting rooms, gather patient information, or assist with filing or other administrative support work.
Overview Summary/Objective The position of Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the Company. This position will conduct all Company business in accordance with Company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism throughout all business dealings, both internally and externally.
Responsibilities Essential Functions:

Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts him/her to the appropriate location. Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments as needed. Receive mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items. Perform administrative and clerical support tasks. Perform basic filing and recordkeeping. Maintain poise and focus under time constraint and adverse conditions. Attend and complete trainings as required by the Company. Pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background checks as required. Schedule, package, and ship items through FedEx Order, receive and distribute uniforms Scan job books Set up breakrooms daily Maintain stock for conference rooms, clean up after meetings Maintain all printers - paper/toner/stock Assist Office Manager with PNC receipts, etc. Perform other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility This position will have no supervisory responsibilities. Other Duties Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice that are job-related and consistent with business necessity. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job, a Receptionist is occasionally required to bend, stoop, walk, climb, squat, reach, kneel, push/pull, stand, sit and lift up to 20 pounds. Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
