Job Description
RECEPTIONIST
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers. This position is ideal for someone looking to begin or build their career in a clerical/administrative environment. The Receptionist will provide professional front-office support while assisting with mail, data entry, filing, inventory, and general office tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently when needed.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and greet visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate staff members and ensure their comfort while waiting.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail from front and back mailboxes.
- Perform light data entry, filing, and sorting of company packing slips.
- Create and maintain inventory lists for kitchen, cleaning, and office supplies.
- Keep kitchen and common areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Maintain the upstairs coffee bar and owners' coffee bar.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
- Assist with miscellaneous administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
- Provide general office support to management and staff.
- Complete routine responsibilities accurately while exercising good judgment when unexpected tasks arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous receptionist, clerical, customer service, or office experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Professional and friendly communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to answer and route telephone calls professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a plus.
