Job Description

Looking to hire an energetic candidate to act as the first point of contact, managing front-desk administrative duties, scheduling patients, updating records, verifying insurance, and handling billing, while ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.
Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Welcoming patients, registering new patients, managing check-ins/check-outs, and maintaining a clean, orderly waiting area.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Scheduling appointments, managing provider calendars, and sending appointment reminders.
Administrative Support:
Answering phone calls, taking detailed messages, managing email correspondence, and updating electronic patient records.
Financial & Insurance Duties:
Verifying insurance benefits, processing payments, collecting co-pays, and assisting with insurance forms.
Office Operations:
Managing incoming/outgoing mail, maintaining office supplies, and coordinating with vendors.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a medical office or optical setting is preferred. Willing to train hard working candidates
  • Familiarity with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems

Will you be able to travel between job sites as needed (mileage reimbursed). Our office is open 2 Saturdays a month 8am-12pm. These are mandatory.
