Handle reception area, and all incoming telephone calls and clerical work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greet and assist public timely and in a professional manner. Answer central telephone system and direct calls timely and accordingly. Receive the public and answers questions in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from employees, students and others, and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person or department. Operate office machines as required. Prepare outgoing mail; sort and distribute incoming mail. Receive packages and deliveries. Compose, type and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material. Assist all other departments in student enrollment and graduation processing. Track students-pulling students from class to see Director or Administrative Officer. Run errands-picking up supplies, mail pick-up and distribution when necessary. Control reference library. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or equivalent. Customer Service. Must be able to work flexible hours. Must have a valid driver's license and legal/current insurance coverage on personal vehicle. Ability to hear, read, write, speak and understand English and Spanish. Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel) and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Must be customer service oriented. Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards. 15/Hr .
