We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, beautiful design, and creating an outstanding experience for every client who walks through our doors. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and personable Design Assistant to support our design team while serving as the welcoming face of our showroom. Position Summary This position plays a key role in supporting our lead designers throughout the design and sales process. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has excellent organizational skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has an eye for design and detail. Responsibilities Assist lead designers with cabinetry design projects from start to finish. Prepare customer proposals, quotes, and sales documentation. Support cabinet sales by maintaining accurate project information and following up with clients. Assist customers in selecting decorative hardware and accessories. Learn product knowledge for cabinetry, appliances, and hardware. Welcome homeowners, builders, designers, and vendors to the showroom. Answer phones and direct inquiries professionally. Schedule appointments and assist with showroom coordination. Maintain organized project files and customer records. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal team members. Help keep the showroom clean, organized, and beautifully presented. Provide exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the project. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn design software (experience with Cabnetware or Cabnetvision Design is a plus but not required). Sales or customer service experience preferred. Interest in interior design, cabinetry, or home construction is highly desirable. What We're Looking For Friendly and welcoming personality. Self-motivated and dependable.
