Front Desk Receptionist Job Description Position Overview:
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for our guests and clients. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing appointments, answering calls, checking clients out and ensuring smooth daily front desk operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, detail oriented, and provides exceptional customer service.
Key Resoponsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients in a warm, friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls, emails and messages promptly and courteously. Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using our Booker software scheduling system. Check clients in and out, handle payments and issue receipts as well as balance a cash drawer. Maintain the receptionist and spa area's cleanliness and professional appearance. Provide information about services, promotions and products. Communicate effectively with service providers and management to ensure smooth scheduling. Manage retail transactions and assist with product restocking as needed. Handle client concerns or complaints with patience and professionalism. Perform general administrative duties such as filing, printing and data entry.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in front desk, customer service, or admin role (spa/salon/medical office preferred.) Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills Proficient with computers and scheduling software. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and demeanor. Dependable, punctual and a team player.
Schedule & Compensation:
