Our receptionist is often the first point of contact for our dancers and families, so we are looking for someone who is welcoming, professional, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with children and families. Position Overview The Dance Studio Receptionist helps keep our front desk and daily studio operations running smoothly. This position includes assisting families, answering questions, managing basic administrative tasks, and helping create the positive and welcoming environment we want every family to experience at Jump Start Dance Studio. Schedule This is a part-time position requiring: Evening availability during the week Saturday availability Dependable and consistent attendance during scheduled shifts Occasional availability for studio events may be requested Responsibilities Greet dancers and families with a friendly and professional attitude Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and through email Answer questions regarding classes, schedules, registration, tuition, and studio policies Assist families with enrollment and account-related needs Answer and direct phone calls and messages Maintain an organized and professional front desk and lobby area Assist with student arrival and dismissal procedures Complete basic administrative and computer tasks Help with studio events, communications, and special projects Work closely with studio management and instructors to support daily operations Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling family and studio information Help ensure the studio remains welcoming, organized, and ready for our dancers each day Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Friendly and outgoing
