Job Description

We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Olympia, Washington. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness by ensuring the smooth operation of a housing site. This position requires a compassionate and organized individual who can effectively manage daily activities while maintaining a welcoming and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and log the entry and exit of residents, visitors, and clients while ensuring compliance with site protocols.
  • Record significant events in a logbook and promptly report security concerns or violations.
  • Coordinate transportation, deliver messages, and manage package distribution for residents and clients.
  • Maintain program schedules, including onsite activities and visits from external agencies.
  • Direct residents and clients to appropriate contacts for resolving concerns, and inform maintenance staff about mechanical issues.
  • Ensure residents have access to adequate bedding, shelter, and basic needs, fostering a comfortable and safe environment.
  • Provide resources and information to residents, including appointment reminders and support services.
  • Collaborate with volunteer staff and interns to ensure efficient operations.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the front office and communal spaces.
