Therefore, we will work tirelessly to ensure you have the supplies, the support and the education/skills necessary in order to ensure you are successful and able to put the focus where it needs to be on our wonderful residents. Aurora Valley Care currently has an opening for a Saturday & Sunday Front Desk Receptionist.
Responsibilities:
Answer and transfer telephone calls; take and relay messages per Center policy Performs all secretarial/clerical duties as assigned/required Courteously greets visitors and sees that they are signing in and out, per Center policy Maintains a room list of residents in the center Coordinated job application process with applicants Deliver mail and packages as needed
Qualifications:
Ability to organize, plan and work autonomously Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other facility staff Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about working with long-term care residents and the elderly
