A leading local nonprofit has partnered with our firm to find a customer service-focused Receptionist to join their team for a short term 3 day need that could be extended. This position will be responsible for providing essential office support, including greeting clients, answering and directing calls, and assisting with various administrative tasks as needed. Location:
Vancouver WA Requirements - What Matters Most High school diploma required plus some higher level education or vocational training specializing in office skills plus at least 1 year of directly related experience or equivalent required. Experience running a multi-line phone system. Demonstrated computer skills necessary to effectively complete duties. Excellent verbal communication skills Maintains a high attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Greets and directs visitors. Independently and courteously responds to inquiries, assesses needs and either provides information or directs to the appropriate staff member. Maintains visitor and caller confidentiality at all times. Assists with client documentation Notarizes documents as needed. Answers/directs calls, takes messages, and makes appropriate referrals. Retrieves messages and responds accordingly within established timeframes. Maintains visitor log. Manages restroom keys. Processes incoming mail each day. Sorts and directs to appropriate staff. Prepares outgoing mail for pick-up by mail service each day. Sorts and organizes incoming electronic faxes as directed. Maintains an organized and presentable office.
