Job Description
Baraboo Valley Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Care Coordinator to join our team of professionals. We are an established, locally owned small animal veterinary clinic with a newly renovated facility located near the bluffs of Baraboo, Wisconsin. The team at Baraboo Valley takes pride in practicing quality medicine with an emphasis on patient care and education. Our staff is dedicated to building a strong, compassionate relationship with the community while upholding a high standard of care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the veterinary industry and will possess exceptional customer service skills, strong computer abilities, and will be eager to learn and develop. Demonstrating care and compassion during high stress situations is also key. This role will serve as a direct liaison between the clients and the veterinarian staff. Previous veterinary experience is preferred as this role will require a solid knowledge base of vaccine protocols, common lab tests, procedures, illnesses and pet behaviors. As a Care Coordinator, you will be trained to properly and effectively answer common pet questions as well as identify possible emergency situations.
