Beloit Clinic Registration The Clinic Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and providers. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming environment while managing front-desk operations, patient registration, appointment scheduling, phone communications, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, taking messages as appropriate. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Register new and returning patients and update demographic information. Verify insurance information and obtain required documentation. Collect co-payments, outstanding balances, and other applicable fees. Check patients in and out of appointments accurately and efficiently. Maintain patient records and ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Assist providers and clinic staff with administrative and clerical tasks. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, faxes, and electronic communications. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations. Support a clean, organized, and professional reception area. Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operationsJOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Exceptional customer service and patient relations skills. Professional demeanor and positive attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Must possess the ability to maintain control and professionalism.Preferred:
