You will work closely with our attorneys and legal staff, welcome clients, and help keep daily office operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls, greet clients and visitors, take accurate messages, and route communications promptly. Prepare new-client packets and open and maintain physical and electronic files. Process mail, scan documents, and organize discovery and other case materials. Assist legal staff with calendaring court dates and tracking deadlines. Prepare and proofread correspondence and provide general administrative support. Protect confidential client and firm information.

Superior organizational skills are essential. You must be able to manage interruptions, keep track of details, and follow through reliably. Some callers are distressed or facing a personal crisis. A calm demeanor, sound judgment, and respectful, professional communication are important parts of this position. The successful candidate will also have: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Dependability, punctuality, and close attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and the ability to learn new software. A cooperative approach to working with attorneys and support staff. Discretion when handling sensitive information. Utmost adherence to confidentiality rules. Law-office or administrative experience is preferred. Compensation and professional growth:
Pay is $22-$26 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The firm has historically awarded quarterly bonuses.
