Weekend Receptionist (Brewster Village)

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Customer Service Specialist (BV) serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies Brewster Village personnel of visitor arrival when needed. Answers and directs incoming phone calls. The hours for this position will be: 2:00pm-8:00pm on Saturday AND Sunday every other weekend. Rotational holidays. Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Directs visitors using employee and department directories; giving wayfinding instructions. Maintains security by following procedures and safety processes of Brewster Village. Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Contributes to team effort by assisting with special projects as needed. High School Diploma or currently enrolled in High School required Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred but not required Telephone Skills (including use of multi-line system), Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office Skills, Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization, Informing Others, Handles Pressure, Phone Skills.
