Job Description

Position Overview Nurtured Calm is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, support daily office operations, and help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone who enters our practice. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner. Answer and direct phone calls and respond to general inquiries. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures. Maintain accurate patient information and office records. Assist with collecting payments and providing receipts, as directed. Communicate with therapists and staff regarding scheduling and administrative needs. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area. Assist with general administrative tasks and office operations. Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times. Recognize and appropriately escalate patient concerns or urgent matters according to clinic procedures. Verify Insurance benefits Set up pateint accounts and send intake paperwork Follow up with patients Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous receptionist, healthcare, behavioral health, or customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a mental health setting. Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, email, and electronic records systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and patient privacy. Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
