GENERAL SUMMARY LEGAL RECEPTIONIST
General management of the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally. To provide administrative and paraprofessional legal support to attorneys and paralegals.JOB DUTIES LEGAL RECEPTIONIST
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties: o Greet clients and guests o Answer telephone and direct it to the appropriate person o Request medical records and medical bills at the direction of paralegal o Log receipt of medical records and bills / follow up on outstanding requests o Schedule meetings, conference calls, etc. o Prepare letters and other miscellaneous correspondence o Post expenses o Process daily mail o Manage all office supplies and restock as neededKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
o Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook o Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks o Ability to function independently and prioritize assignments o Ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality o Team player, positive attitude o Organized, detail-oriented o Work well under pressureEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
o Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a professional environment o Prior legal or administrative experience is preferred Expected hours: 37.5 per weekBenefits:
