Job Description

Job Duties Open the front office each morning check the drop box 3x daily (opening, lunch, and closing) Greet and wait on clients as they arrive; provide a friendly, professional first impression Answer and route incoming phone calls Assist clients with making federal tax payments when needed Assemble completed tax returns for client pickup Fax 8879 forms as required Scan 8879 forms and IRS letters into the system Respond to general client emails Prepare and process outgoing mailings (Priority Mail, FedEx, UPS) Retrieve daily mail and open it Take out the trash daily Stock and refill beverages; fill snacks during tax season Make coffee each morning and clean the coffee pot at the end of the day Unload the dishwasher Take inventory of soda, snacks, and office supplies; place orders as needed Maintain adequate supplies in the copy room Cover the front desk and phones Assist with locking up the office at night, as scheduled Other front-office and client-service duties as assigned High school diploma or equivalent required Prior receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor
Pay:
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 50.0 per week
