Part time Front Desk Receptionist

Microtel Inn and Suites of Tomah Wisconsin is currently looking to hire one dependable front desk clerk for the morning shifts (7am-3pm). The scheduled days would be Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and every other Saturday and Sunday. This would be 32 hours a week with every Monday, Tuesday off, as well as every other weekend off. The job requires knowledge of computers (Windows 11) and office equipment. The ability to multitask and handle more than one job at a time is a must. Customer service training and computer system training is provided upon hire. Our hotel linen is a task that we share as a team during the slow months. Washing and folding daily to make sure we have clean linen available for housekeeping will be trained in addition to any other skills needed to run the property. This shift is very important. The mornings are productive and spent checking out customers, assigning housekeeping assignments, and working with our continental breakfast. Basic food handling, and cleaning skills are needed. We spend time in the afternoon working in laundry if we have to. The lobby is a area we should try to keep clean for check-in time around 3pm. There is plenty to do and the shifts go by quick. Free breakfast each morning you work is also a plus!
