Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support a busy non-profit organization in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This Contract position will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and help create an organized, welcoming front desk experience. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a thoughtful approach to handling guest arrivals and daily reception activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome visitors as they arrive and provide a courteous, welcoming first impression.
  • Guide guests to the appropriate sign-in area and help ensure they reach the correct department or contact.
  • Monitor front desk activity throughout the day to keep visitor traffic moving smoothly and efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to general inquiries using a clear and helpful communication style.
  • Support day-to-day reception operations by maintaining an orderly front area and assisting with routine administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate with staff members regarding guest arrivals and check-in needs to promote a seamless visitor experience.
